Biography

2012:  Played in all 13 games on special teams and in a reserve role, posting career-best numbers of 25 tackles (11 solo/14 assists), two tackles for loss, one pass break-up and one fumble recovery . . . Recorded a career-high seven tackles and both his tackles for loss in a victory over Alcorn State . . . Fumble recovery came against Troy when he also had two tackles . . . Posted at least one tackle in nine games and had multiple stops in six contests.

            2011:  Played in all 13 games on special teams and in a reserve roll in the defensive backfield . . . Recorded two tackles . . . ASU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll member.

            HIGH SCHOOL:  Passed for 1,659 yards, rushed for 661 yards and scored 32 total touchdowns as a senior . . . Defensively, recorded three interceptions . . . Arkansas Activities Association Class 5A All-State selection senior season as a quarterback/defensive back . . . All-Vype Team (big school) selection for the state of Arkansas as a defensive back . . . 2010 ArkansasVarsity.com First Team All-State selection as an athlete . . . One of 13 finalists for the 2010 Landers Award, issued to the state’s top prep player . . . All-Conference choice . . . Helped lead Watson Chapel to the semifinals of the 2010 state playoffs and a No. 3 state ranking by Hootens.com . . . Rivals.com 3-star recruit . . . As a junior, Coleman recorded 18 receptions for 360 yards and totaled seven touchdowns while accounting for 818 yards of total offense at various positions . . . Rushed 43 times for 458 yards and three touchdowns . . . Also recruited by Ole Miss, Kansas State, Louisiana Tech and Memphis, among others . . . Honor Roll member.
