2009: Played in 10 games as a true freshman mostly as a reserve and on special teams, but made the most of his only start in ASU's season-finale against Western Kentucky . . . Recorded seven tackles, including one TFL, and an interception in the game . . . Returned interception 43 yards to set up a key TD for ASU late in the game that helped the Red Wolves rally for the victory . . . Named College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) national linebacker of the week for his efforts against WKU . . . HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity letterman . . . Played both offense and defense at Class 5A Houston High School . . . Helped lead Houston to a 7-3 record as a senior . . .
