2013:  Played in eight games on special teams and in a reserve role as a defensive back . . . Recorded three tackles (all assisted) and one fumble recovery for a touchdown . . . Recovered a block punt by teammate Brock Barnhill in the end zone against Georgia State, giving A-State a critical momentum swing in a 35-33 victory . . . Posted a season-high two tackles against UAPB . . . Tallied one tackle at Louisiana-Monroe.

2012:  Redshirted the 2012 season . . . Athletic Director’s Honor Roll member and Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity letterman . . . Played corner until his junior season and moved to safety his senior year . . . Had 100 tackles and two interceptions his senior season . . . Made the state playoffs his sophomore through senior seasons . . . Earned second-team all-state honor, all-city and first-team all-district honors . . . Also ran track for two seasons . . . Team captain junior and senior seasons . . . Earned academic all-state honors.
