2017:  Versatile player who competed in all 12 games, including one as a starter, in the defensive backfield and at linebacker . . . Lone start came at the linebacker position against Troy in the Red Wolves’ regular-season finale . . . Recorded 58 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, one sack, two pass break-ups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery . . . One of eight Sun Belt players to record at least 58 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss and both a forced and recovered fumble . . . Ranked fourth on the team in tackles and tied for 44th in the Sun Belt Conference . . . Recorded double-figure tackles in 10 games and posted at least five stops in six outings, including a career-high 12 against Middle Tennessee in the Camellia Bowl . . . Also tallied a career-high 1.5 tackles for loss against the Blue Raiders, while recording 1.0 against Louisiana and South Alabama and another 0.5 TFL versus Texas State . . . Lone sack came in the Camellia Bowl . . . Posted eight tackles and his only forced fumble against Nebraska . . . Returned a fumble 28 yards for a touchdown against Coastal Carolina . . . Two pass break-ups came in different games – one versus UAPB and the other at South Alabama.

COFFEYVILLE COMMUNITY COLLEGE:  Defensive back for Coffeyville Community College in 2016 who registered 94 tackles, a forced fumble, six pass break-ups and five interceptions, including two returned for a touchdown . . . Earned Honorable Mention All-KJCCC recognition . . . Helped lead Coffeyville to a 6-5 record, and the Red Ravens received votes in the final NJCAA poll.

BOISE STATE:  Originally signed with Boise State out of high school and redshirted his true freshman season in 2015.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Coming out of high school, he was listed as a 3-star recruit per Scout.com and was also the top-rated individual at his position in the state of Kansas, No. 22 in the Midland Region and No. 100 nationally . . . 3-star recruit per Rivals.com rated No. 9 overall in Kansas . . . 3-star recruit per ESPN rated No. 12 overall in Kansas . . . 3-star recruit per 247Sports rated No. 10 overall in Kansas . . . Named AVCTL-I Defensive Most Valuable Player and first-team all-league on both offense and special teams at Derby High School as a senior . . . Recorded 126 tackles, five interceptions, two forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries . . . Also had two punt returns for touchdowns and two kick returns for touchdowns . . . Scored seven touchdowns without taking an offensive snap . . . Was also named all-state . . . Junior season competed for Mesquite Horn High School in Texas . . . Named first-team all-district at outside linebacker and was honorable mention 5A All-State . . . Registered 89 tackles, four interceptions, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
