Made 41 appearances and 35 starts at catcher … Led the team with 171 putouts 10 batters caught stealing … Hit .240 on the season, but heated up in conference play with a .297 average … Recorded two home runs and nine RBIs while crossing the plate 12 times … Went 2-for-3 at Marshall (March 22), recording his first multi-hit game of the season … Recorded his first extra-base hit and RBI in a 2-for-4 performance at Arkansas-Pine Bluff on March 26 … Drove in three runs on his first homer of the season against App State (April 20) … Recorded a solo-home run in a 1-for-4 performance at Central Arkansas on April 23 … Finished 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI in the opener of a doubleheader against Texas State (April 26).
