Biography

2019:  Saw action in every game in a reserve role at wide receiver, setting career-best numbers for receptions (28), receiving yards (263) and touchdowns (2) . . . Ranked fourth on the team for receptions and receiving yards and touchdowns . . . Caught at least one pass in 10 games and posted multiple receptions in five outings, including a career-high 12 that were the most by an A-State player on the year and ranked tied for the fourth most in school history . . . 12 catches against the Mustangs tied the 28th most in the nation in 2019 for a single game . . . Also finished the SMU game with a career-best 92 receiving yards . . . Finished both the Camellia Bowl and UNLV games with 40 receiving yards, which were his second most of the year . . . Longest reception covered 30 yards against FIU in A-State’s bowl game . . . Both touchdowns came in different games – versus South Alabama and Louisiana . . . Finished the year with six kickoff returns for 76 yards, including a long of 25 yards against Georgia Southern . . . Recorded one punt return against Southern Illinois . . . Athletics Director’s Honor Roll member.

2018: Played in the first six games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury . . . Recorded 15 receptions for 108 yards, averaging 7.2 yards per catch . . . Caught at least one pass in all six games played, including a season-high five receptions 25 yards against Alabama . . . Caught multiple passes in four outings and posted a long reception of 26 yards against UNLV . . . Posted four catches for 23 yards against Georgia Southern and had two catches against both SEMO and Tulsa.

2017: Played in two games in a reserve role at wide receiver . . . Saw action versus UAPB and SMU, but did not record any stats.

2016: Redshirted his true freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year varsity letterman who earned first team All-District 6-6A recognition as both a senior and junior . . . Named the 2015 All-Collin County Utility Player of the Year . . . Caught 47 passes for 771 yards and seven touchdowns . . . Posted 20 rushing attempts for 83 yards . . . Fielded eight punts and returned three for 24 yards . . .
