Chance Hall begins his second season at Arkansas State in 2022 as a graduate assistant coach working on the offensive side of the ball.

His first season at A-State saw the Red Wolves’ offense rank 11th in the nation in passing offense (313.9 ypg) and averaged nearly 400 yards total offense per game to rank fourth in the Sun Belt Conference.  The Red Wolves put up over 500 yards in a game four times, including 680 against Memphis for the fourth most in school history.

Prior to coming to A-State, Hall spent the 2019 season as a student assistant coach and the 2020 season as a graduate assistant coach working with the running backs position at his alma mater, the University of Tennessee.  His first year with the program in 2019 saw the Volunteers post an 8-5 overall record and claim a 23-22 victory over Indiana in the Gator Bowl.

The Roanoke, Va., native spent four seasons playing on the offensive line for the Volunteers, including his first three under current A-State head coach Butch Jones.  Hall was tabbed a 2015 Sporting News, 247Sports and Scout.com Freshman All-American while also landing on the All-SEC Freshman Team.

Hall earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his master’s degree in agricultural leadership from the University of Tennessee in 2018 and 2020, respectively.  He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport management from Arkansas State University.
