Kyle Shipp begins his second season as a graduate assistant for the Red Wolves football program, coaching on the offensive side of the ball.
In May 2009, Shipp received his Masters Degree from Arkansas Tech University studying College Student Personnel. Shipp also earned his B.A. in History and Political Science from Arkansas Tech University in May 2007.
While at Arkansas Tech, Shipp gained extensive experience in college football with three years playing experience and three years coaching experience - one as a student coach, and two as a graduate-assistant coach.
From 2006 to 2008, Shipp's coaching experience at Arkansas Tech included coaching defensive backs, special teams, receivers, quarterbacks, reviewing game and practice film, and recruiting.
Shipp was born on September 28, 1984 in Morrilton, Arkansas, and graduated high school in May 2003 from Morrilton High School. Shipp is the son of Kenny and Patty Shipp of Morrilton, and is married to Krystal Carr of Russellville, Arkansas.
