LAMBUTH:  Started at linebacker his true freshman season for a team that posted a 6-5 record . . . Recorded 44 tackles and an interception returned for a touchdown . . . Named the conference's Player of the week . . . Dean's List member.            

HIGH SCHOOL:  Three-year varsity letterman . . . Played both running back and linebacker as a sophomore and junior and linebacker as a senior . . . Helped lead White Station High School to a state championship his senior season . . . Recorded over 15 sacks and 170 tackles as a senior . . . Team Captain . . . Liberty Bowl AutoZone Senior All-Star Game participant and team captain . . . Named team's Defensive MVP as a senior.
