Biography

2013:  Played in all 13 games on special teams and in a reserve role in the defensive backfield . . . Former walk-on earned a scholarship prior to the start of the 2013 season . . . Finished the season with nine tackles (4 solo/5 assist) and one fumble recovery . . . Recorded a career-high four tackles at Missouri and also had two stops versus Texas State . . . Tallied at least one tackle in five games . . . Lone fumble recovery came against Georgia State.

2012:  Played in two games vs. Alcorn State and Louisiana-Lafayette . . . Rushed three times for nine yards and also recorded one tackle against the Ragin’ Cajuns.

2011:  Did not play in any games . . . Participated on the scout team . . . ASU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll member.

2010:  Redshirted and participated on the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played running back at Greenbrier.

PERSONAL:  Born Nov. 25, 1991 . . . Son of Wendy Griggs . . . Brother John Griggs.
