2008:  Played in 12 games in 2008 . . . Recorded 14 tackles, six solo and eight assisted, for the season . . . Posted a season-high of three tackles in a game against Texas Southern . . . Recorded four tackles for a loss 19 yards, including 1.5 sacks for a loss of 13 yards . . . Also posted two pass break-ups.

2007:  Played in all 12 games as a reserve . . . Recorded 23 tackles (9 solo, 14 assisted) . . . Posted a career-high four tackles vs. Louisiana-Monroe . . . Finished with multiple tackles in seven outings . . . Picked up three tackles for loss of seven yards . . . Had one pass break-up (vs. Troy).

2006:  Transferred to Arkansas State from Arkansas Tech in the spring of 2006.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Four-year letterman . . .  Named All-State as a senior and two-time all-conference.

PERSONAL:  Born Oct. 4, 1986 in Little Rock . .. majoring in exercise science . . . Enjoys music, creating art and watching all sports . . . Son of Josephine Wakwe.
