Biography

2013:  Played in 12 of 13 games on special teams and as a reserve defensive back . . . Completed the season with a career-best 10 tackles (3 solo/7 assist) . . . Recorded a career-high four tackles  (2 solo/2 assist) in A-State’s season opener vs. UAPB . . . One tackle in six other games.

2012:  Played in one game (versus Alcorn State) . . . Did not record any stats . . . AD’s Honor Roll member.

2011:  Redshirted and played on the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Three-year letterman at Cordova High School . . . Didn't play cornerback until junior year . . . All region performer both as a junior and senior . . . Recorded 55 solo tackles and 38 assists, 15 pass break-ups, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and  one interception for a touchdown his junior year . . Senior year, played in the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl All-Star Game in 2011 . . . Posted 60 solo tackles and 35 assist as a senior to go along with 17 pass break-ups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one kicked blocked . . . Honor roll student . . . Also ran track on the 4x1 and 4x2 . . . State (Tenn.) champion . . . Came to A-State as a preferred walk on.
