Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State defensive back who helped Ridgeway to a 13-1 record and to the semifinals of the 2010 state playoffs . . . First team all-state and all-district selection in 2010 . . . Finished senior season with 63 tackles, seven tackles for loss and five interceptions . . . Named to the Tennessee All-Star Team . . . Memphis Touchdown Club Player of the Week selection . . . 2-star recruit by Rivals.com . . . Posted more than 50 tackles and recorded 22 passes defended as a junior . . . Competed in basketball and track as well . . . Among others recruiting Triplett were Memphis and Northern Illinois.
