Logan Ingram is entering his second season on the Arkansas State men's basketball staff and serves as the Red Wolves' Director of Scouting and Analytics. Ingram was hired by A-State head coach Bryan Hodgson as video coordinator ahead of the 2023-24 season after spending the previous four seasons at Alabama as a manager for the Crimson Tide.
"Logan is one of the sharpest young men I've worked around, and truly is a rising star in this business," said Hodgson. "When I accepted this job, Logan was one of the first people I thought of to join me. He's a relentless worker, with a strong background in both video scouting and analytics. We are very fortunate to have him here in Jonesboro."
As a manager with Alabama, Ingram played a vital part in helping the Crimson Tide to a 92-42 record, advancing to the Sweet 16 twice in three-straight appearances at the NCAA Tournament. The Crimson Tide claimed its first regular season conference title since 2002, first conference tournament title since 1991 and first Sweet 16 appearance since 2004.
"I am so thankful for the time I spent working with Coach Hodgson and the entire coaching staff at Alabama and extremely blessed to take on this new opportunity at Arkansas State," said Ingram. "I am looking forward to serving our players and this community. Wolves Up!"
Ingram was tasked with coordinating practice and game video, preliminary scouting with the coaching staff and provided analytics assistance. He also assisted with recruiting operations, summer basketball camps and player development tasks. He graduated with a degree in finance with a concentration in banking administration with a 4.0 GPA.
In the summers of 2021 and 2022, Ingram was a video analyst for Blue Collar U in The Basketball Tournament (TBT). He coordinated and provided game and scout film and distributed opposing personnel film and notes to the players and staff. He provided in-game and post-game analytics with Blue Collar U winning the 2022 TBA and advanced to the semifinal in 2021.
Ingram is a native of Sheridan, Ark., where he played on the varsity basketball team. His mom, Jamison, is the head girls basketball coach at Sheridan High School.
