High School: Played first three years at McClain High School before transferring to Tulsa Tech for his senior season . . . averaged 18.6 points per game,. 9.2 rebounds per game and 4.8 blocks per game as a senior . . . played in the Texas all-star game as a senior where he earned MVP honors . . . also named to the Norman Invitational and State Tournament All-Tournament teams.
