Aldon Pilz joined head coach Brian Gerwig's staff as an assistant coach and the director of operations in 2025 following the conclusion of her collegiate volleyball career at Christian Brothers. The 2026 campaign will mark her second season in the role.
In her first season with the Red Wolves, A-State captured the 2025 Sun Belt Volleyball Tournament title and appeared in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015. A-State finished at No. 55 in the RPI standings and recorded a victory over a top 25 opponent for the first time in program history on Sept. 4 versus No. 16 Missouri.
The Waynesville, Mo. native appeared in 267 sets over 90 matches as a setter and recorded 431 assists (1.61 per set) plus 274 digs (1.03 per set) over four seasons at Christian Brothers. Pilz ranked second on the team with 205 assists in 2021 and 214 assists one season later.
