JONESBORO (4/5/08) - Ten Arkansas State football players were honored at the team's annual Family Day Cookout, held Saturday afternoon outside Indian Stadium at the conclusion of the team's annual spring game.
Head coach Steve Roberts recognized the players for their hard work on the field and performance in the classroom. Six players received the Academic Excellence Award, two the “I WILL” award, two the Most Improved Player Award and one the Hustle Award.
In addition to the player awards, long-time team videographer Terry Bill was given the Spirit Award for his tireless work behind the scenes and enthusiastic support of the program.
