The Red Wolves took the lead in the fourth inning 3-2 when they strung together three-straight hits. Todd Baumgartner doubled to left-field with one out in the frame and was plated along with Jordan Castaldo when Logan Uxa tripled to right-center. Tyler smith then drove in Uxa when he grounded out to third.

FAU then scored runs in the fifth and eighth to get back on top on RBI hits from Church and Delguice and a ground out by Cassidy, taking the advantage 5-3.

Uxa led ASU going 2-3 with two RBI and a run scored while Michael Faulkner was 2-4 from the plate. Burkhalter was 4-4 for the Owls with an RBI and run scored.
