JONESBORO, Ark. (9/26/12) – The Arkansas State Athletics
Department in cooperation with the Jonesboro Economic Transit System (J.E.T.S.)
will be providing transportation for Red Wolves' fans attending this Saturday's
(Sept. 29) A-State football home game at Liberty Bank Stadium.
A 6 p.m. (CT) opening kickoff is scheduled for
Saturday's matchup against Western Kentucky in what represents the Sun Belt
Conference (SBC) opener for both teams.
The JETS buses is available for those fans
wishing to park at the City of Jonesboro parking lot, which is located at
the intersection of Cate Avenue and Church Street across from the old
Mercentile Bank/Union Planters Bank building.
Fare is $1.25 each way for adults, 90 cents one
way for A-State students with a valid student ID and 60 cents for passengers
ages 65 or older.
The JETS buses will commence loading at
approximate times of 2:55 p.m. (CT), 3:25, 3:55, 4:25, 4:55 and 5:25 in the
afternoon. The buses will unload fans at the Northwest corner of Liberty Bank
Stadium near gate 11.
Buses will begin loading passengers to return to
the parking lot 10 minutes after the end of the game and depart approximately
20 minutes after the contest has concluded. Busses will load in the Liberty
Bank Stadium parking lot near gate 11.
Tickets for this Saturday's key game versus Western
Kentucky are presently on sale through the ASU Ticket Office by calling
870-972-2781 or 1-888-ASU-FANS. Cost per individual is $20 for reserved
bench seats and $17 for general admission.
Tickets for the remaining three regular-season home games on the 2012
A-State football schedule are also currently available for purchase.
