Brown led 9-7 in the second set, but back-to-back attack errors paired with a kill from

A-State faced heavy resistance in the third set, falling behind 4-2 before a kill from Lewis and a service ace from Cail paired with an attack error resulted in a 5-4 lead. Tied 21-21, a service error from the Bears was followed with a kill from Whitlock and back-to-back service aces from Collum, securing the sweep and pushing A-State back to a .500 record on the season.
