JONESBORO, Ark. (6/23/26) – Arkansas State track and field had 11 student-athletes named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Craig Alan Becker,
Colby Eddowes,
Brett Jacobs,
Evan Stevens and
Brandon Williams represent the men's team while
Mary Beth Bailey,
Mia Conroy,
KG Ryan,
Kat Schaefer and
Abigail Tomberlin represent the women's team. Bailey (Marketing), Becker (M.S. Exercise Science), Ryan (Criminology), Schaefer (English), Tomberlin (Exercise Science) and Winkler (Nursing) ended the 2025-26 academic year with 4.00 GPAs.
Conroy carried a 3.93 GPA in Health Studies, Eddowes held a 3.88 GPA in Exploratory Studies, Williams secured a 3.80 GPA in Business Administration, Jacobs recorded a 3.72 GPA in Mid-Level Education and Stevens posted a 3.68 GPA in Biological Sciences.
Track and field nominees must hold a top 50 regional ranking in a single indoor or outdoor event. Cross country nominees must place inside the top 50 as an individual at the 2025 NCAA regional competition.
Academically, all athletes must hold a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom.
