Arkansas State Athletics

Arkansas State University

Purpose

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is the voice of Arkansas State student-athletes and serves as a vital link between the student-athlete body, A-State Athletics administration, the Sun Belt Conference (SBC), and the NCAA.

SAAC is a space dedicated to enhancing and supporting a positive student-athlete experience. Through SAAC, we serve our Jonesboro community, advocate for and provide resources that support mental health and well-being, promote financial literacy, and offer programming designed to prepare student-athletes for life after sport. Most importantly, SAAC provides opportunities for personal and professional growth while empowering student-athletes to develop as confident, engaged leaders on campus, in the community, and beyond.
