AN A-STATE WIN WOULD
• Improve A-State's record to 6-16 on the season and 4-7 in the Sun Belt Conference.
• Give A-State their 53rd SBC win over the last 4 seasons.

• Make A-State 43-7 on its home court since 2013-14.

RECAPPING THE COASTAL CAROLINA GAME
• Arkansas State defeated Coastal Carolina 60-52 at the Convocation Center this past Thursday for its fifth victory of the season.
• A-State led by 11 with 4:19 to go in the third quarter, but Coastal Carolina used a 15-0 run across the third and fourth quarters to take a five point lead in the fourth quarter.
• A-State closed the game on a 15-2 run to take the lead back and then hold on for the victory.
• Starr Taylor had five assists and no turnovers in the second half.
HOLY HECKERT
• Madiso Heckert turned in a career-night against Coastal Carolina on Feb. 2 at the Convocation Center.
• The true freshman scored a career-high 14 points and tied a career-high with five rebounds. She led the Red Wolves in scoring for the first time in her career and had a career-high two blocks.
• Her last block helped end a big run from the Chanticleers and allowed A-State to close the game on a 15-2 run to retake the lead and close out the game.
WAITING IS SO HARD TO DO
• Brittany Fowler played 82 college basketball games and three season before registering her first career block.
• She had two rejections against Coastal Carolina on Feb. 2, each of which occurred in the first half.
SOMETIMES THE NUMBERS DON'T ADD UP
• A-State tied a season low with only 50 shots taken in wins Feb. 2 win over Coastal Carolina.
• Despite the low number of field goal attempts the Red Wolves were efficient from the field and hit 40 percent of their shots, but were still out battled on the boards 48-37.
MOVING ON UP
• Junior Lauren Bradshaw has become a dominant presence in the paint during her career and quickly moved her way up the all-time blocks records in school history.
• She has blocked 107 shots in her career, a mark that is the second most all-time.
• She ist just the third player in school history to block 100 shots in a career.
• As a sophomore in 2015-16, she blocked 53 shots, third most in a single season in school history.
• She enters the week ranked 70th in the nation with 39 blocked shots, which ranks as the sixth most in a single season in A-State history.
WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE
• Three of A-State's 4 wins this season have come on its home court.
• Since the 2013-14 season the Red Wolves have compiled a 42-7 record on its home court. The three losses this season are the most in a season during that span.
• A-State has overall record of 154-52 on its home floor since joining the Sun Belt Conference.
MORE FOWLER POWER
• Senior guard Brittany Fowler scored a career-high 22 points against UL Lafayette on Jan. 26.
• She also knocked a career-best nine field goals in the game.
• It also marked the first time in Fowler's career that she had scored 20 or more points in a contest.
• The big game came on the heels of the news that was accepted into Pharamacy School in Memphis earlier in the week.
THAT'S ALOT OF FREE THROWS
• Arkansas State attempted 47 free throws against Troy on Jan. 21, the fourth most in school history.
• The Red Wolves made 32 of the free throws, a mark that is also the fourth most in school history.
• The 47 free throws attempted were the most since the team took 45 against Middle Tennessee in 2007, while the 32 makes were the most since the squad made 31 in 2006 against San Jose State.
SPREADING OUT THE SHOOTING
• A-State's 3-point shooting doesn't come from one source. In fact, Brittany Fowler leads the league inf 3-Point FG percentage and is 19th in the nation. Tahlon Hopkins would also be ranked but has not accumulated the minimum number of attempts yet.

CONTINUING THE TREND
• Arkransas State's 3-point shooting prowess is nothing new. Last season A-State shot 35.1
percent, the fifth best mark in school history and the best in over a decade.
• The Red Wolves are currently shooting 35.0 percent from beyond the arc this season.

MISSING PRODUCTION
• A-State has lost four players to injuries this season, two of which were among the Red Wolves' leading scorers.
• When Jada Ford was sidelined she was leading the team with an average of 11.9 points per game through 14 games.
• When Akasha Westbrook went down with an injury she was averaging 10.1 points per game through eight games.
• Ford still leads the team in scoring, while Westbrook ranks third.
PLAYING TO THE ODDS
• If the Red Wolves score 70 or more points, A-State is 175-30 (.854) under head coach Brian Boyer. This season the Red Wolves are 3-2 when scoring 70 or more points.
• By contrast A-State has a record of 197-58 (.773) when holds its opponents to 65 or fewer points under Coach Boyer. This season A-State is 2-2 in games in wich the opponents scores 65 or fewer points.
HI MY NAME IS...
• Seven freshmen will put on an Arkansas State jersey this season, the most during the Brian Boyer era.
• The Red Wolves had six freshmen on the team during the 2000-01 season and has had as many as five freshmen on a team six times since then.
