STARKVILLE, Miss. (3/21/25) – Miranda Burgett won the women's high jump on Friday at the Alumni Bulldog Relays, highlighting a pair of top-5 finishes in the event.
Burgett cleared 1.65m (5-5.0), while Ashley Guadamuz cleared 1.60m (5-3.0) to place fifth.
Colby Eddowes recorded a pair of career-best performances on the day, throwing 36.54m (119-11) in the men's discus throw, and later clocking a time of 48.49 in a 10th-place finish in the 400 meters.
Menachem Chen led five athletes in the men's discus throw, placing fourth with a mark of 53.41m (175-3). Noa Isaia (48.97m/160-8) and Chris Boyd (47.36m/155-5) placed eighth and ninth, while Eddowes placed 22nd with his collegiate-best throw. Cameron Slavin rounded out the quintet in 24th, tossing 28.52m (93-7).
In the women's discus, Liya Guy was 12th with a mark of 39.92m (131-0).
The Bulldog Relays concludes Saturday in Starkville, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Mike Sanders Track Complex.
