JONESBORO, Ark. (4/30/25) – After posting event titles this past weekend at the Alumni Classic in Jonesboro, Arkansas State track and field's Noa Isaia and Carly Pujol received weekly honors, the Sun Belt Conference announced Wednesday.

Isaia was voted the Men's Field Athlete of the Week after a stellar series to win the men's hammer throw on Friday. Four of his six throws surpassed his previous career best, with his top throw of 66.22m (217-3) coming on his fourth attempt. The sophomore leads the Sun Belt Conference by 15 feet and ranks 18th in the NCAA West Region. Friday's mark also ranked seventh in this week's Top-10 Marks of the Week published by USTFCCCA.

Pujol won the women's pole vault on Saturday and was named the Women's Field Athlete of the Week. The Cape Girardeau, Mo., native cleared 4.06m (13-3.75) to win for the fifth time in the last eight meets dating back to indoor season – a stretch in which she has posted seven top-3 finishes. Pujol's mark tops the Sun Belt by nearly a foot, and she enters the week tied for 15th in the NCAA West Region.

Wednesday's honor marks the second straight week the Red Wolves earned weekly honors and gives A-State five weekly award winners this season.
