Inducted in the A-State Hall of Honor in 2005, Meichsner competed for the A-State women’s tennis program from 1995-98. She finished her career with 17 doubles victories with partner Cornelia Botha, a total ranking the duo eighth all-time at A-State. 

After her successful career, Meichsner returned to Jonesboro to be an assistant during the 2000 season.
