Hall of Honor
Jemison played every game at fullback during his four years at Arkansas State, including a string of 24 consecutive starts. Playing from 1983-1986, Jemison became one of the school's most prolific rushers. He was a member of the 1986 squad that marched to the NCAA Division I-AA national championship game and finished as the runnerup. A-State made playoffs appearances in three of Jemison's four years on the team and achieved the No. 2 ranking in the polls at the conclusion of the 1986 season.
Jemison earned AP Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 1985 and 1986 seasons and was selected to the All-Southland Conference team in three straight seasons. His 13 career 100-yard rushing games rank fourth most all time and his string of five straight 100-yard games in the 1986 season is tied for the sixth longest streak in school history. He finished his career with 19 career rushing touchdowns and ran for 2,956 yards. He was selected a member of the ASU 1980s All-Decade team and signed a free agent contract with the Washington Redskins following his final season at Arkansas State.
