Lettering from 1990-94, Shyla Tucker played a key role in Arkansas State’s 1993 NWIT title along with Sonja Tate. In her career, Tucker helped A-State to three straight NWIT appearances, where the Lady Indians placed inside the top three in all three tournaments. In the 1993-94 season, she was named Sun Belt Conference Co-Player of the Year after being named second-team All-American South Conference in 1990-91. She closed out her career as an All-SBC performer in 1993 and 1994. In the record books, Tucker ranks second in program history in scoring (1,989) and fifth in school history in career rebounds (907).
